Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve 

Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve is located in the far southwest of the Terai and covers an area of 305 sq km (including extension area), with an elevation range of 90-270 m. According to estimates, there are roughly two-thirds of forests and one-third of grasslands in the reserve’s vegetation cover. With a 54 sq km extent, the Suklaphanta grassland in Nepal is most likely the largest of these. Bengal floricans and hispid hares can be found in the reserve in the greatest numbers that breed in Nepal.
