The Jeep Safari is excellent for bird observation as well and travels across a big area at one time.

Canoeing

It can be both tranquil and thrilling to canoe along the gorgeous Rapti River. In a traditional hand-rowed canoe, you can slowly paddle through the Chitwan National Park to observe the breathtaking scenery and its different species. There is a small museum and numerous baby elephants there frequently.

  • One of the nicest places to stay for a few nights with your child in Chitwan National Park. Less than an hour after we arrived, we spotted a rhino in the river right outside our hotel. After dinner on the first night, we also had the opportunity to see the Tharu cultural show, and the next morning, we took a river trip. For the first time, crocodiles and gharials were swimming quite next to us. My family had a nice experience overall.
